WPT Seoul Opens At Yy Poker Club

WPT Seoul began on October 30, 2026, bringing an 11-day schedule to the newly opened YY Poker Club inside INSPIRE Resort. The festival runs through November 9 and features 46 events, led by the KRW 1,750,000-entry WPT Seoul INSPIRE Championship with a KRW 1 billion guarantee.

The series gives the new venue an immediate place on the live tournament calendar, combining a major guaranteed championship with satellites, high rollers, mixed formats, turbo events, freezeouts, and lower-buy-in tournaments.

A New Tournament Room for WPT Seoul

YY Poker Club is positioned inside the INSPIRE Arena, minutes from Incheon International Airport. That setting gives WPT Seoul a resort-based tournament environment with clear logistical appeal for players traveling to the festival.

The room has been built with presentation in mind as well as tournament operations. Its features include a large LED screen, East Asian-inspired artwork, a traditional boat scene, an art exhibition, bonsai trees, WPT trophies, and a WPT-style final table.

A Champions Cup associated with Mike Sexton is also displayed in the tournament area, adding another World Poker Tour reference point to the new space.

INSPIRE Championship Anchors the Schedule

The WPT Seoul INSPIRE Championship is the headline event of the festival. The tournament carries a KRW 1 billion guarantee and has a KRW 1,750,000 buy-in.

Starting flights are scheduled for November 5, November 6, and November 7. Day 2 is set for November 8, with the final day scheduled for November 9.

That timing places the championship at the center of the festival’s closing stretch. With the largest stated prize-pool target on the schedule, it is the clearest competitive focal point as WPT Seoul moves toward its final weekend.

Forty-Six Events Across Multiple Formats

WPT Seoul is structured as a broad festival rather than a single-feature series. The 46-event schedule includes no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, mystery bounty, high roller, satellite, turbo, freezeout, and other formats.

The listed buy-ins extend across several levels. Events include a KRW 700,000 Mini Championship, a KRW 3,500,000 High Roller, and a KRW 8,000,000 Super High Roller.

A separate High Roller scheduled for November 8-9 carries a KRW 150 million guarantee, adding another major tournament to the same closing window as the INSPIRE Championship’s later stages.

Streaming Adds a Broadcast Layer

Selected major events are scheduled to be streamed with expert commentary. The confirmed schedule does not identify which specific tournaments will receive live coverage.
