WPT Global Opens 110 Path To WPT Seoul

WPT Global has introduced a structured online satellite route to the WPT Seoul Inspire Championship, with the lowest starting point set at $1.10 and package-awarding qualifiers running through late October.

The satellite program launched on August 16, 2026. Its format moves players through three buy-in levels: $1.10 satellites, $8.80 satellites, and $88 weekly qualifiers. The $88 qualifiers are scheduled for 12:05 p.m. UTC every Sunday through October 25, with each one guaranteeing at least three $1,500 packages to the live championship in South Korea.

How the Three-Stage Satellite Route Works

The qualification path is built as a step structure rather than a single direct qualifier. The $1.10 tournaments feed into the $8.80 stage, and players who advance from there can reach the $88 Sunday qualifiers, where the WPT Seoul Inspire Championship packages are awarded.

Each $1,500 package includes a seat in the championship's Day 1a flight, $250 in expenses credited to the player's WPT Global account, nightly access to the VIP Ultra Lounge, entry to the Player Party, and exclusive WPT Global merchandise.

The first 30 package winners are also eligible to receive four nights of accommodation at the Brown Dot Hotel Eurwangri. The listed terms do not state a total package value beyond the individual package components.

WPT Seoul Inspire Championship Schedule

The WPT Seoul Inspire Championship is scheduled for November 5 through November 9 at the INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, South Korea.

Four opening flights are planned across the first three days of the championship: Day 1a on November 5, Day 1b on November 6, and Day 1c and Day 1d on November 7. Day 2 is scheduled for November 8, with the final day set for November 9.

The championship buy-in is KRW 1,750,000, described as approximately $1,250 using a conversion rate of $1 to KRW 1,400. The guaranteed prize pool is KRW 1 billion, approximately $700,000 at the same conversion rate.

Festival Context in Incheon

The final scheduled $88 weekly qualifier is set for October 25, five days before the wider WPT Seoul festival begins on October 30. The festival is scheduled to run through November 9 and includes more than 45 events and satellites.

The broader schedule includes high rollers, Mystery Bounty events, Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments, turbo events, freezeouts, additional satellites, and a Mini Championship. That places the Inspire Championship at the center of a wider live festival program rather than as a standalone event.

What the Package Route Means

The structure connects a $1.10 entry point with a live championship carrying a KRW 1 billion guarantee. At the $88 qualifier level, the recurring guarantee of at least three $1,500 packages provides a defined weekly route into the event until the final Sunday before the festival.

For package winners, the Day 1a seat is also significant from a scheduling perspective. It places qualifiers directly into the first opening flight of the championship before the event progresses through its remaining starting days and later stages.
