Four 888poker Ambassadors Advance In WSOP Documentary

The second episode of 888poker's six-part 2026 WSOP Main Event documentary was released on August 15, following Aaron Barone, Ian Simpson, Lucia Navarro, Nick Eastwood, and Vivian Saliba through the opening day of the $10,000 Main Event.

The episode tracks five 120-minute levels and produces a clear split among the featured group. Simpson was eliminated in Level 3, while Navarro, Barone, Eastwood, and Saliba all completed the day with chips.

Navarro Sets the Pace After a Late Start

Lucia Navarro entered her flight late after being ill for three days, but she finished with the strongest stack among the five ambassadors. Navarro bagged 128,500, giving her the lead within the documentary's remaining group.

Aaron Barone ended the opening day with 76,400, Nick Eastwood finished with 56,300, and Vivian Saliba moved forward with 36,200. The four surviving stacks create a defined internal leaderboard heading into the next episode, even as each player remains part of the broader Main Event field.

Simpson's Run Ends in Level 3

Ian Simpson's tournament moved sharply in the wrong direction after a stable start. He had 55,000 chips at the end of Level 1, but dropped to 12,300 by the end of Level 2.

His Main Event ended during Level 3 after he moved all in with ace-king offsuit against pocket jacks. That elimination left four of the five featured ambassadors in contention after the first five levels.

Four Different Routes Through Day 1

The chip counts show that the four advancing ambassadors reached the end of the day through very different paths. Saliba had 80,000 after Level 1 and 85,800 after Level 2 before closing at 36,200.

Eastwood held 61,400 at the end of Level 1, fell to 45,000 after Level 2, and finished the day at 56,300. Barone built more steadily, moving from 52,400 after Level 1 to 64,000 after Level 2, then bagging 76,400.

Navarro's final stack stands out most within the group because of both its size and the context of her late arrival. At 128,500, she finished 52,100 chips ahead of Saliba and 52,100 ahead of Barone's nearest challenger? No: she held 52,100 more than Barone, while Barone finished 20,100 ahead of Eastwood.
