Bruno Ikeda Wins First WSOP Bracelet

Bruno Ikeda turned a past WSOP near-miss into a bracelet breakthrough, winning Event #16: $500 Deepstack NLH Championship in the 2026 WSOP Online series at GGPoker. The Brazilian defeated fellow countryman Lucas Teixeira heads-up to secure his first WSOP gold bracelet.

The $500 buy-in tournament drew 3,971 entries and generated a $1,886,225 prize pool, with the top 465 finishers paid. Ikeda also received a $30,000 Super Pass to the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event as part of the result.

Ikeda Converts a Second WSOP Heads-Up Chance

Ikeda had already come close to a bracelet in online WSOP competition. In 2022, he finished runner-up in the $840 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Bounty online bracelet event at GGPoker after reaching heads-up against Joni Jouhkimainen.

Four years later, another online bracelet heads-up match produced a different outcome. Ikeda closed out Event #16 against Teixeira, completing the run that had eluded him in 2022 and adding a first WSOP bracelet to his results.

Brazil Leads the Top of the Final Table

Brazil occupied two of the top three places in the event. Teixeira finished second behind Ikeda, adding another deep run to a 2026 WSOP Online campaign that had already included a bracelet win during the series. Germany's Yannick Schneider finished third.

The rest of the nine-player final table finished with Lucas Pochat in fourth, Juho Suutari in fifth, Boris Angelov in sixth, Eng Soon Ewe in seventh, Mykola Kotovych in eighth, and Artem Aiutkulov in ninth.

Large-Field Online Title Adds Extra Weight

Event #16 was not a small-field bracelet opportunity. With nearly 4,000 entries and 465 paid spots, Ikeda's win came through one of the larger structures on the 2026 WSOP Online schedule.

The final result also carried importance beyond the bracelet itself. The $30,000 Super Pass to the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event gives Ikeda an additional connection to the wider 2026 WSOP calendar after his online title run.
