888poker Opens WSOP Documentary With The Pilgrimage

888poker has released “The Pilgrimage,” the opening episode of a documentary series following five of its ambassadors as they travel to Las Vegas for the 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event.

The roughly 10-minute episode tracks Aaron Barone, Ian Simpson, Lucia Navarro, Nick Eastwood, and Vivian Saliba as they prepare for poker’s largest annual tournament. Rather than centering on hand histories or results, the first installment focuses on travel, routine, family, and the personal pressure that comes with returning to the Main Event.

A Player-Led Start to the Main Event Story

“The Pilgrimage” frames the 2026 WSOP Main Event through five individual experiences. The tournament carries a $10,000 buy-in and a $10 million top prize, but the episode’s emphasis is on what happens before the cards are in the air.

Navarro describes the 2026 WSOP as her 10th year traveling to Las Vegas for the series, having first attended in 2016. Barone says this year marks his fourth appearance in the Main Event, with his first entry coming in 2023.
